8 Inspiring and Entertaining Podcasts to Add to Your List for 2018

Books, music, audio books, Netflix, the radio. There are so many ways we consume things and get entertainment. Every day we’re finding new ways to be entertained and to learn things – we get bored easily. I get bored easily. Podcasts are a new one for me. I’ve been pretty into podcasts this year, and I’m not the only one. 42 million Americans listen to podcasts weekly.

I forgot what got me started on podcasts, but I’m so glad I started. It’s been entertaining, enlightening, educational, and inspiring. I listen to everything from reality TV and minimalism to entrepreneurship and marketing. It all depends on where I am, what I’m doing, and the mood I’m in. I love listening to new podcasts – even if it’s just one or two episodes. There are a few that I listen to all the time. Some I’ve finished. Some I’m almost finished with (there are so many episodes!!). Here are some of my favorites – in no particular order because honesty it changes by the day. How I Manage Stress: National Stress Awareness Month

I was watching Season 2 of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix, and Kimmy said, “I’m like a lollipop with a question mark on the wrapper. I don’t know what’s going on inside.” And I felt like she was my spirit animal (well, I always do minus the whole being kidnapped for 15 years). Lately I’ve been feeling super stressed about a couple of things, and it’s been messing with me. There are a couple of things that I do to help feel better, but it can still be difficult to forget you’re stressed.

April is National Stress Awareness Month. Obviously managing stress is important. I think we all know that, but it’s sometimes harder to manage stress. I’m not very good at it, but I do have a couple of go-to things that help when I’m stressed.
